DEVIAN, (...) featuring former Marduk members Legion (vocals) and Emil Dragutinovic (drums) mercilessly return with their second attack, ”God To The Illfated”.DEVIAN have forged a vicious mix of thrashing riffs, blackish aggression and a heartfelt old school spirit that mounts in simply perfectly written songs.
Recorded once again at Art Decay Studio with Rickard Kottelin, DEVIAN decided to hook up with Hypocrisy / Pain mastermind Peter Tägtgren for further production duties and the intense mix-down of the album at The Abyss Studio (Immortal, Marduk, Dimmu Borgir, etc.) while mastering duties were once again taken care of by Peter In De Betou / Tailor Maid Production (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, etc.). The striking artwork for the album was once more provided by acclaimed artist Seth (Soilwork, Exodus, Paradise Lost, etc.), who had worked with DEVIAN as well on the debut ”Ninewinged Serpent”.
