Happy New Year dudes!

Which bands/concerts want/are you going to see 2008?

I would want to see At the gates and Eläkeläiset, that what i know now that I would like to see.
They are going to play at Sweden rock festival this summer.

Which band would you like to see this year and when and where are them going to play?

Happy new year to you too.

There are not many gigs I planned/like to see this year yet.

A few gigs are sure I will see them and those are the ones with Vader/Devian on the following dates;
23.04.08 - HOL Enschede @ Atak
24.04.08 - HOL Haarlem @ Patronaat
25.04.08 - HOL Leeuwarden @ Romein

Maybe I will pay a visit to the Inferno fest in Oslo but that is not sure yet.

And besides all this I would like to see the band Lifes Illness getting some gigs. Only becomes of the reason I play drums in that band. Well, let's see. Only time will tell.

I'm hoping to see Devian (obviously!), Devilish Impressions, President Evil and Omnium Gatherum. All of those have tours this year so hopefully I'll catch them at the London dates...

I'm sure there will be loads more as well... I've just gotta wait for more tours to be announced! ;)

Hopefully I'll be going to the House of Metal festival here in Umeå in february. There are some damn fine bands on the bill: Meshuggah, God Among Insects, Scar Symmetry, Candlemass, Unleashed, Nocturnal Rites, and so on and so forth.

Good times.

Now this Forum is Full of Interesting Subjects to be Discussed, glad to have so many good tasted Metallions around!!

Well I'll be atending to several gigs this year.

Started with Midwinter Fest in Belgium with Bands like Endstille, Grave, Asphyx,Amon Amarth and more.
Checked Behemoth and Devilish Impressions gig in Portugal.

Will attend to the following Festivals:
Graspop(BEL) - Immortal, Behemoth, Priest, Maiden and several other bands (this if I can't make it to Wacken Open Air off course.
http://www.graspop.be/

SWR Barroselas Metal Fest(POR)
http://www.myspace.com/swr_fest

Caos Emergente Metal Fest(POR)
http://www.myspace.com/caosemergente

Both Devian gigs in Porto and Corrois on Vader tour and well whatever comes next and that shows interest to me I'll be there.

Metal On |m|

I cant really be objektive, i never listened a studion album of them, so i didnt know any song. If you like their music, u would like their live perfomance too maybe, but to me every song sounded similar. And the sound was crap too..

Watain and Horna. Hope I am not disappointed. I saw the Carcass re-union in Texas and was a bit disappointed at the show. Suffocation of course kicked major ass, like always. Didn't think I was going to make this show, but sorta glad I did. We'll see what else comes to town. Devian, bring your asses to Texas!!!

-Marduk 21 December (made probably their best album ever with their last effort)

-The Devil's Blood 24 December
This is very good Occult Rock from the Netherlands. It's worth to check them out.

-The Devil's Blood 24 December
This is very good Occult Rock from the Netherlands. It's worth to check them out.

you are going to amsterdam for metalfest with kataklysm, morbid angel,...??? i'll be there too probably!

Yes, I will be there. Although I have to admit that Marduk is my only interest of coming there. The rest is not.

Never liked Morbid Angel and I never heard a single tune of that band Kataklysm, so I am not the right person to judge about them.
The only reason I am gonna take a look at Marduk is for the vocalist and they are so much better on their last album then on La Grande Danse Macabre or World Funeral for instance.
Ach, niet iedereen houd van spruitjes, is het niet?

Is goed. Dan laat ik me verassen. Moeten we wel op een centraal punt afspreken anders valt er weinig te sleuren.
