i think, my first metalalbum was "High Voltage" from AC/DC. In my opinion one of the best AC/DC CD´s

At the age of 8 I got my first album:

Black Metal from Venom.

A good solid base in my opinion.

The first one that I heard was Stay Hungry with Twisted Sister and the on that I owned by myself was AFD with Guns n' Roses. And I still think that AFD is one of the greatest albums ever!

I could not agree more! AFD is a phenomenal album! It's still one that I can listen to over and over again - I just never get bored of it :)

The first album I ever bought was "Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell" by Meat Loaf. I was about 9 years old at the time.

Haahaa that sure brings me back on time!
Well the first album me and my bro bought was "Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time" once it came out in '86 if I am not wrong. Damn classy immortal Metal Album and one of my favorite albums of Maiden.
My own first album was a bit latter and it was "SEPULTURA-Arise"! Damn fast and brutal album that sure marked the best times of Sepultura in my opinion.

I think it was Painkiller from Judas Priest, not sure about it could be kill 'em all from Metallica too.

If I really want to age myself, I would say my first metal album was a handed down copy of Sabbath's Black Sabbath given to me when I was about 9.

Don't know if it counts as metal or not, but when I was about 10 or 11 I bought Alice Coopers Greatest Hits Album on cd. Man he rocked back in the day! 8)
